John Waters, on what is cool.  Why don’t hacktivists have a signature style?

Knolling in the Deep, er, um 90 Degrees.  Andrew Kim, of Minimally Minimal, has released his book about knolling.  It seems wonderful!  I want it!  The catch: You can only read it on an iPad or iPad Mini.  I own neither of those.  I am crushed.  Also crushed by the fact that he didn’t take advantage of the title Knolling in the Deep, which could have been great. Still, if you have an iPad or iPad Mini, you should buy this.

The Veronica Mars Movie Kickstarter hit their funding goal in one day.  They raised 2 million dollars in one day.  They’ve also got a lot of people talking about crowd-funding and how culture creators interact with their audiences.  Thoughts?
