I first heard about Nicolas Felton a few years ago on 99 Percent Invisible, and I’ve been interested in what he does ever since. He makes these incredibly detailed reports of his life every year, and presents them in the most beautiful way. The NYTimes article is here.
The UpShot is killing it with demographic data visualizations – right now, I’m geeking out over these migration graphs, and imagining all the human stories they tell – excitedly moving to another state for school, or a new job, or leaving home because there’s nothing left for you there, and wondering where I might fit into those trends.
