Going into Town
I read all of this while standing in a comic book store in Ann Arbor, and it was a quick, personal read – it made me want to read more graphic novels.
The Way I Used To Be
I really liked this book – it reminded me a lot of “Speak” but I love the way the author used the timeline of the book to tell a longer term story, and it made me think about how timeline plays a role in a novel that I don’t tend to think about very much. The book was relatively long, but it was pretty compelling and quick to read.
