Links for Friday, July 12

Hi!  I’ve had what feels like a super busy week, so I’m glad it’s Friday!  I got to go to The Moth on Tuesday, had my first day at a new part-time job on Wednesday, and got to go to the Tattly birthday party and check out The Newsstand on Thursday. Yay! Everything is exciting!

I found out about the + Pool a couple days ago, and I think it’s super cool. A floating, water filtering pool in the East river – Check it out! They just got funded via kickstarter for the second phase of their project.

From Forty Days of Dating.

I’ve just found Forty Days of Dating, and it looks like it’s going to be really cool.  It’s two friends who are dating each other for forty days, to try to work out the issues they’ve had in other relationships. I feel like this is actually a rom-com waiting to happen.

I found out that a bunch of incredibly cool people are going to be reading from David Rakoff’s book, Love, Dishonor, Marry, Die, Cherish, Perish on Wednesday at the Barnes and Noble in Union Square, and I am going to go there, and I am fully expecting it to be amazing. Possibly the most exciting thing of my life so far. So. Excited.

That’s all for now, be sure to have a great weekend!
